Someone requested that I posted the stats of my sorc the other day, so here it is.
When I first started out I figured that I had to use at least two skilltrees, but that changed along the way. Why?
I might be wrong here (correct me if so), but the idea is if a sorc has 40 skillpoints to use, then she has to use 10 on each mastery skill. and 10 on some other skill on each tree. This way each of those skills are only developed 1/4 of its potensial instead of half on each. With one tree u get 20 on mastery and 20 on the mainskill.
Some people prefer two trees evenso, thats up to u. I still believe 2 sorces with each different tree is far more powerful than 2 sorces with 2 trees each.
In normal its no prob to go solo on with one tree. In nightmare and hell its more annoying. In nightmare immunities comes once in a while, its no prob to just leave them behind. In hell I usually team up. The best allies is other sorces, most of them use either fire or cold, lightning is very rare although many use thunderstorm.
Another tip is to be as fast as possible, be able to outrun for instance flayers. I have 30% faster boots and a 5% faster charm. I find it sufficient.
My items gives me +4 to all skills so I'll type them in with this bonus.

I've put way more points into energy than needed, but I didnt get frosts or the jordan until later in the game.
This is also an exelent pvp char, but I havent played much duels. Thunderstorm delivers 1018-1439 dam, and I dont have to aim at all. Once in range and zap. And range is no problem either, just teleport into range and then away.
